Sub:- Stop harassment of Striking Transport Employees
Sir,
We express shock and anguish vindictive and repressive action including arrests and retrenchment by the Government of Haryana against the striking road transport employees.
We demand that the government must release all arrested employees and trade union leaders and withdraw all cases against them. Further orders of termination and suspension must be withdrawn.
We reiterate the solidarity and support to the employees of Haryana road transport in their fight to save the public transport with massive public support.
We emphatically demand that the Haryana Government must stop all steps to privatise the Public Road Transport operation and immediately start bipartite negotiations with the join Action Forum of trade union to discuss and decide steps to ensure more efficiency of the public road transport operation in the state.
